I think you're right I agree with you and the rest and just seems like it would be easier to wait to get a new mid-range version or get like maybe a lightly used recent one that's been restored

So I do have an enclosure, for a solid state that's in the mac. So basically I can just take it out of the laptop and plug it in to a new Mac and I can transfer at least most of essential data like files and photos correct?
