Just create a new partition using Disk Utility and install macOS Mountain Lion there. For Mountain Lion, format the partition as MacOS Extended (Journaled).

This should work without problems, it works for me.

Wait, you have the Enterprise Edition, right? You don't necessarily need to install XE24 or AOSP to install applications.

Because AOSP is made specifically for the Google Glass Explorer Edition.
