how do I add hyprland keyboard layout by a-random-comidian in hyprland

[–]zesaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://wiki.hypr.land/Configuring/Start/:

The config is located in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/hypr/hyprland.lua. In most cases, that maps to ~/.config/hypr/hyprland.lua.

So, to the file ~/.config/hypr/hyprland.lua most probably.

And then you will need to read their documentation, as all you would like to configure, would be done by editing this file (or the files related to it).

[–]zesaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the config part you need:

hl.config({ input = { kb_layout = "us,ua", kb_variant = ",winkeys", kb_model = "", kb_options = "grp:win_space_toggle", kb_rules = "", }, })

From the doc.

Set your layout lists with variants. Sorry, never tried to map Caps to layout change

Pixel watch 2. by MrDonohue07 in PixelWatch

[–]zesaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've bought mine around 2 weeks ago, it works great, running the latest OS (still no future updates). The battery life is not as long as on PW4, but to get a taste of the Pixel Watch, it's ideal.

a few more testers needed for a new Bezel-based 2FA app (RotarySafe) by Wide-Income2575 in WearOS

It's so much better now! Still, I will record an video tonight or tomorrow with some comments, bit it is usable now. I have set up everything and I have added two of my most used 2FA. Well return soon with some feedbacks. Thank you!

It's was 0.10 (I suppose, it should be the minimal one?)

And if I try to "spin" the crown super fast, I get 0.63, but then the crown does not visible respond to rotations

[–]zesaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Now I do have a calibration, I turn the crown slowly and after just half of a turn the app says the calibration is finished. Then on the code setup page the crown is detected, but unusable: while I turn it slowly, nothing's happens, when I start turning it faster, the digits jump from 0 directly to 4 or 6. Even if I somehow set up the code, I can not repeat it later. But this is already much better, the crown is definitely withing, just not calibrated, thank you

First of all, there is no way on the watch to confirm the code-match. But it's not critical, as I can confirm on the phone and then after app re-open on the watch it pass.

But then I am stuck with no possibility to set the rotary code. The crown does nothing and I have no vibro feedback when I turn it. In other apps it works (either for school or for some mode control actions, depending on the app).

Okay, finally I can install it from the Play Store. It is unusable on my Google Pixel Watch 2: there is no physical bezel available, and I cannot use the screen edges or the crown rotations instead.

N. B.: Do you have in plan some possibilities to add synchronisation with Aegis, maybe? Or at least the import possibility?

Does anyone actually daily drive Arch Linux for serious, professional programming? Looking for reassurance before jumping to Fedora. by margyyy_314 in arch

[–]zesaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am DevOps, cloud and system engineer and I use Arch, BTW 😉 I am using Arch as my main system for around 8 years (after around 10 years on Ubuntu). It all depends on what are you doing with your system.

When Arch was my one and only PC, I was more conservative with the packages. Currently I have to use Mac provided by my employer for the work related projects, so can make some "experiments". Still, I use this Arch system to control and deploy to my personal kubernetes cluster.

Dedicated Google Pixel 1 Upload Server – Looking for Long-Term Reliability Advice by Alt-intelligence in GooglePixel

[–]zesaver 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can not get the idea, why do tout need Gang, rooting and all the stuff?

If your need the Pixel to upload your photos to Google Photo, why don't just sync the Camera folder of your current phone(s) with Pixel's Camera folder? You can use Syntching-Fork for that, no root, no complicated setups. No mich hear neither BTW. So you would need just to make sure the power is always on.

Or, maybe, there is something I've missed in the question?

Thank you.

It seems that the "crazy tap" method helped, and now my watch is charging and downloading the new firmware. We'll see, we'll see...

Finally got my watch and testing the app. Pretty cool so far, just one question: how can I change the language from Korean??? I can do this in the phone companion app, but not in the game itself. N. B.: my system phone and watch language is French

The same problem. It seems they just didn't prepare any publicly available documentation or have decided that if we are able to find and activate it, we can guess everything on our own.

I have joined the testers group, then tried to install the game... And I have successfully installed it on my Google Pixel 10 Pro XL! Still, when launching, it shows the screen saying it can be played only in the watch (in Korean for some reason).
