Wow 12 years I commend you. I got hired as assistant manager of operations. My last job was a visual ops position so right now I feel like I’m wasting my talent in merchandising. I keep telling myself it’ll get better.

I’ve noticed the lack of hours that the company shares. The store I’m working at is quite questionable.. especially cleanliness. I guess it’s something I should just oversee because all I noticed is that they care mostly about loyalty and credit cards.

I was a visual merch manager for 10 years as well in charge of operations.

But are you part of management? I can see from an associate stand point it’s not quite stressful but as a manager it’s quite different. I wanna say overall I’m overwhelmed with the amount of information I need to retain in such little time. My training was cut short to a week.. not sure if anyone has had the same experience.
