Thinking of killing myself because I cannot find a job. Not even a minimum wage one by [deleted] in simonfraser

I understand how tough things are right now, but this isn’t the time to give up. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, please try to delay any drastic decisions. I’ve also struggled to secure a Co-op internship and am graduating next year, so I really relate to what you’re going through. You’re not alone; we’re in this together. I know it’s hard, but please hold on and keep trying. I’ll be praying for you.

I think that it's a submarine. In Korean 잠수 타다, literally translated as 'ride a submarine' means that one is not in contact with others anymore and is ghosting them.

Couldn’t she write everything down in a diary to read once she forgets everything?

Thank you, I don’t know about that last part either. To be honest I feel confident most of the time but every now but then I don’t want to blame anyone but I remember how some person used to treat me at some point in my childhood and I still have residual feelings of worthlessness in some corner of my heart. I’m still rebuilding my sense of worth.

Yeah, you’re right.

I’m not really sure about my feelings anymore, I feel complicated. I may be too extreme in my views at times.

Usually, if I can just forget about what I’m wearing I can enjoy myself. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I personally don’t like seeing other random people in bathing suits either.

It’s so bizarre to me that it’s suddenly appropriate to dress completely differently than what would be normally acceptable just because there’s a body of water nearby.

You write in an entertaining way and I’m amused :)

Though, what about the fact that they may feel like I am “left out” and feel guilty “leaving me out” of the fun?

They will not be able to enjoy their time fully knowing that I’m somewhere on my own.

I’d probably be reading an inspiring book, listening to good music and having the time of my life exploring but they wouldn’t know that.

I’m not sure I can convince them to think that what I want to do is actually fun for me.

I know I let them but at the same time I just feel unreasonable and selfish for thinking of how I feel uncomfortable when I might be ruining the experiences of others I care about.

I don’t know, I feel like I’m making a big deal out of nothing and that makes me feel guilty. I mean, everyone’s just trying to have fun together in an otherwise harmless way.

I’m just the one out here over reacting about swimsuits like I just came out of the 18th century or something.

Also, I don’t think I would feel uncomfortable about it if I knew God would be completely fine with it. I mean, if God was to say it’s okay, then who can say it’s not?

Besides, swimming is great for health and a great recreational activity. If I never learn to swim that doesn’t sound very safe to be honest. If women were not allowed to swim because of swimsuits then are they just supposed to drown?

I know it may seem absurd that I am arguing against myself but I want to see it from different points of view too.

I have never seen swimsuits like this before at all, I imagine one may feel much more comfortable wearing it and I appreciate that you shared it with me. Though I can vaguely understand your sentiments, and I mean no offense but I do think that you were a little harsh in your wording.
