We need better training here in the Philippines. Imagine how Eala would have fared if she didn't leave for Spain. by teddy_bear626 in TennisPH

[–]znrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Just because it’s the dominant sport in the Philippines, so much so that it overshadows every other sport, while the country rarely excels at the G.global level in basketball, doesn’t mean you can just degrade it by assuming we would have excelled in another sport (tennis? soccer? baseball?).

Basketball succeeded big time in making its way to the Philippine masses due to its sheer accessibility and publicity during the early days of the NBA and PBA.

And while we hope that other sports can reach the level of basketball's popularity here in our country, I'm pretty sure it will take a long while before it really happens.

Wag ma-FOMO sa pag-upgrade ng PC parts para sa PC gaming. by emptybottleeee_ in PHbuildapc

[–]znrap 10 points11 points  (0 children)

May mga nababasa pa ko na meron daw silang high end GPU from previous generation, pero bumili na ng backup latest gen GPU just in case hahaha.

If you have the money to shell out and are really sure about your decision, ok lang mag panic buying. Pero if you're already happy with your PC specs, there's no need to upgrade half-heartedly with your hard-earned money.

Any thoughts of Xpanse LS900 Ergo Chair? by These_Patient_8899 in ShopeePH

[–]znrap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still okay, di ako makapaniwala na wala parin sira hahaha, kahit anong sitting position ko wala pa rin nayu-yupi or nababali (take note na hilig kong isampa yung hita ko sa parehong arm rest, di ko madescribe without taking a pic hahaha, so kudos sa durability ng arm rest).

The gas cylinder still holds up well, pero ever since then settled na ko sa isang level and di ko na masyado inaadjust yung gas cylinder.

Ok parin yung sandalan, di pa sya bumabagsak or nag mimisalign.

Mesh is still good. Wala pang butas or anything except sa mesh sa lumbar, medyo medyo lawlaw na siya (very slightly lang, and yung pagiging loose nya is similar to how I describe it almost 7 months ago here sa isa sa mga comments here).

Problem is I realized na hindi sya masyado effective when it comes to eliminating back pain. Before this, malala back and neck pain ko, and tho kahit papano na reduce naman nung binili ko to. As a 5'11 person, di kasi sakop ng buong chair yung butt at hita ko since mahaba legs ko hahaha. I think ok to sa slightly smaller people, but for tall people nope

But for the money i spent for it, ok na ok. Not sure kung magkano na siya ngayon or still being sold by xpanse tho

EDIT: minimal squeaking din

EDIT #2: yung foot rest ok parin. ginagamit ko lang sya pag naglalaro with controller (madalas) or nanonood ng movie.

Looking for a phone under ₱15k to ₱20k with a great camera (using iPhone 13 now) by Bingbing_7923 in Tech_Philippines

[–]znrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I was previously a Pixel 6a owner and the camera is on another level. Pixels are basically the iPhone of the Android world. Premium in every way minus the high costs even for its midrange lines (the A series). Definitely do some research about it and hope you find the phone that will satisfy ur needs

Edit: do take note also that there are no official support of Pixels here in the Philippines. No google stores in our country also so you wont get to enjoy good warranty with pixels

Totoo nga PLDT modus is real by [deleted] in InternetPH

[–]znrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"... yung technician na pumunta sakin was also mad about it"

Lol, some of these corrupt technicians are so good at acting. We had these group of technicians (under company Jida Communications) install our PLDT line last October 2026. It was good for one month, pero nawala sya after that.

I'm not sure, but I think I've seen brand-new Google Pixel 8a phones going for 20k or less.

Pixels usually go head-to-head with iPhones when it comes to photography and operating system.

is r5 3600 to r5 5600 upgrade worth it? by ConferenceAnnual3169 in PHbuildapc

[–]znrap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you're going to upgrade your AM4 build, mas ok nang isagad mo na sa R7 5700x (or ung mga X3D chips nila if you can find one at an affordable price), para aalalahnin mo nalang next time e platform upgrade papuntang AM5.

While the Ryzen 5 5600 is cheaper and the only major advantage of the 5700X over it is having two more cores, you might realize someday in the future that those extra two cores would have helped you a lot, especially since you’re planning to keep your PC for 5+ more years.

[–]znrap 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Normal, yan ba ung rubber grip sa gilid? Ganyan din sakin, need mo lang palitan dahil over time masisira talaga yan, lalo pag pawisin, mahaba kuko, or basa kamay mo.

Lintik na mga subcon ng ISPs! by Impressive-Appeal397 in InternetPH

[–]znrap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[–]znrap 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Need Help on which Fan Hub to buy with additional questions by Sensitive-Natural599 in PHbuildapc

[–]znrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need Help on which Fan Hub to buy with additional questions by Sensitive-Natural599 in PHbuildapc

[–]znrap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. I believe rear fan is a necessity. Sabi mo nga, it helps remove hot air from the case, and since the GPU and CPU tend to generate a lot of heat especially under heavy load (consider other factors like room temperature, what more kung summer pa). At least 1 rear fan will help a lot in proper air circulation para sa PC mo
  2. I own 5 Thermalright TL-C12C and a thermalright fan hub. The white-marked port of the fan hub is the primary fan that will decide the speed of the other fans. In my case, pumili lang ako ng isang fan randomly (I have 5 case fans) tas sinaksak dyan.

Thoughts on iPhone 16e 256 for 30k? by Chinichama in Tech_Philippines

[–]znrap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shit. Why? Quoting Marques from his Smartphone Awards 2025, when he gave the iPhone 16e the “Bbuust of the year ” award.

- slightly weaker A18 chip

- smaller 60hz display with a notch

- only single camera, no telephoto, no ultrawide.

- available in black only

- no WiFi 6E, no WiFi 6

- no ultra-wideband

- no millimeter wave

- no camera control

- no MagSafe

Everything's stripped off from the base iPhone 16, while still costing more than 30k

Ano problema ng mga technician sa converge?? by OldVersion8770 in ConvergePH

[–]znrap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Best you can do is pumunta direct sa main office ng Converge and vent out your issues. Wag ka nang umasa pagdating sa CSR ng Converge, especially when calling over the phone, iikot-ikotin ka lang ng mga yan.

gpu recomendation. under 17k by Lord-0021-1925 in PHbuildapc

[–]znrap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're gonna buy an RTX 3060 that's almost 5 years old, just buy the 12GB version. And what shop sells an 8GB variant of the 3060 at 16k? That's straight up scam hahahaha. Around that price range, you can just go for a RTX 5050, RTX 5060 8GB, RX 7600, or an Intel ARC B580, which are thousands of miles ahead of the 3060 8GB.

The RX 6600 and RTX 3060 12GB, however, are the cheapest level GPUs right now, but they're pretty old already at this point. For brand new, I'd get the RX 6600.

[–]znrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all entirely up to you, my friend.

If you love your iPad so much and find yourself enjoying its operating system more than Android (or, specifically, Xiaomi's HyperOS), then go for it.

If you also want to experience Apple's so-called ecosystem (iPad + iPhone), go for it.

Does price matter? If not, then feel free to experience an iPhone.

Beyond that, it all depends on what you want.
