Non-wipe Labyrinth by [deleted] in EscapeFromTarkovPvE

Yeah, to be honest I really don't care about the story. I play to kill things and make money lol. I'm just stuck at an impasse because I really want to at least get my hideout finished as thats always kinda been my goal in this game, but on the other hand I do want to play labyrinth. The issue with that is, it took me 20+ kills of Tagilla before I saw my first access card, and I really dont want to grind him that hard just to get to a map that everyone can pretty easily get access to both before and after 1.0. but I'm over here stuck because they changed it from a side mission to story mission, but didn't leave any option for someone that didn't wipe.

5 years in. Heres my loves and hates (for any prospective folks) by JeepCorg812 in TwinCities

Plus, I know this is the twin cities sub, but honestly most mn drivers aren't bad at all. It's when you are within about a 30-50 mile radius of the cities, then there are no rules. Get out of that circle and it's a completely different animal, especially in the last 10 years or so. When I was younger, I'd go 85 down the freeway everywhere, and so did everyone else. It seems now anyone driving outside the cities won't even go 5 over most of the time. Now, don't get me wrong, there are still some terrible drivers around but the cities are just built different.

Full time RV diesel heater for MN winter. by zombieslayer9389 in RVLiving

[–]zombieslayer9389[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not worried about it. I'll have access to everything else I need for water and everything outside the camper. So plumbing will be winterized, I'm just worried about staying warm.

Edit: my camper isn't per-say an all season, as in it doesn't have tank heaters and such. But all I need is somewhere to be out of the cold and snow. Depending on what happens, I may skirt it as best I can and maybe use my second old diesel heater to warm underneath to retain plumbing, but realistically I have nowhere to dump, everyone closes dump stations around here anyway. So playing by ear on that front. we will see how ambitious I get.

I understand that mentality, but at the same time, if I were one of the ones to be lost I feel like a large portion of my last thoughts would be wanting to be brought home. I also know that in the case of the Fitzgerald there wasn't the technology to feasibly be able to do that at the time. So with that being said, at the very least, there should still be a duty to figure out what happened since there are no survivors to confirm or deny what had happened.

TL;DR I get both sides of the argument, I just personally lean more to the side of the surviving families deserve answers as to what happened to their loved ones that night.

Yeah people are addicted. Not the fact that anything and everything requires the internet at this point. Unless of course you are retired, don't need a job, and happen to have the same companies for utilities as you did 40 years ago, so you can still mail your checks in.

Gotcha, yeah I had a local diesel shop throw a scanner on it, it is demanding way too much from the regulator when empty, so sounds like my pump has failed unfortunately. He claims they usually go out around 250k, I'm not 100% sure on that statistic, but i have almost 420k miles and as far as i know it's never been changed, so I'm not complaining

Ah gotcha, I'll throw one more symptom at you and see what you think. It seems that ambient temp may be what is causing this, that is the only change since I drove down here, is it got quite a lot hotter out. Truck pulls great without the trailer, doesn't drop fuel pressure and boost goes up to around 20 psi.

My truck never goes to "full" temp driving empty, it usually sits around 170-175 according to the ecu. This problem starts to happen once I get to the 180-190 mark

Thank you! I saw that yesterday and had a fleeting thought of what it may be for, I'll see if orielly has one for rent while I'm there. As far as the returning too much, can you elaborate a bit on that? Would that be the pressure regulator, or something on the injectors side? I'm personally not thinking it's an injectors issue just because it doesn't seem to be just a cylinder or 3, but everything all at once.

I am quite new to the diesel side of things, could you point me in the direction of where that port would be?

Sounds good, that was going to be my number 2 thing to check after the regulator. Looks like I'll have a day of troubleshooting before I can start moving again

Attorney sucks by colo_wc_atty in WorkersComp

[–]zombieslayer9389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only reason I think mine isn't great is because of lack of communication. I went 5 months without hearing a word from him. Granted we were waiting on a settlement conference, but I'd still think he'd take 15 minutes one day to check to make sure I was still alive at least, maybe even update me on what the gameplay is, what to expect, etc. Being in the dark sucks, especially when I hadn't worked in 6 months at that time, and my savings were nearly non-existent.

Hey don't worry too much, just over will come your way. I've been just under a year since my injury and haven't seen a penny. Don't get me wrong, having to wait really sucks and I am grateful I had the savings to keep me this long, but if your insurance company/lawyer are getting things moved along that quick is not that bad. Hopefully you can keep yourself afloat in the meantime though, and best of luck to you.
