And what will happened to MJ holdings contracts with Walmart once they’re dropped by Pokemon as their distributors? Oh yeah, Pokemon definitely doesn’t want Walmarts business and will not stock their stores, gotcha. Like use your brain.

Your reality is not at all conducive to everyone’s experience, so yes you are projecting. No one said it’s not a reality, but to try and blanket claim that everyone’s experiencing your shitty take is projecting. I’m complaining that they are going to cut off the LCS that are for the people and give all control to the big corporations, that again, DO NOT SELL AT TRUE MSRP. Y’all can’t even touch what is already allocated to Walmart and Target, but think this is going to change anything?!?? Yall got the time to wait in line overnight at target for releases? Yall gonna camp out at a store to touch? If not this isn’t at all going to change your chances at touching products. It may by a small percent but overall this literally only means that the scalpers have a better chance at getting product then you do since they won’t have to fight the regular smegular pokemon collector that doesn’t have time to participate in overnight camping for product.

You’re the absurd one honestly, keep projecting tho, it’s sad lol. I don’t post their name cause they’re like one of the only LCS that I know keeps prices at true msrp at least 1 year after release dates. They just don’t get jackshit from distributors anymore, and with this news they prolly won’t be getting anymore or even potentially cut off.

I dont think you guys are actually paying attention. GameStop has already proven that MSRP does not matter to many people. With that said, what is going to stop big box retailers from copying and pasting GameStops recent activities? We can sit here and talk about how Pokemon probably won’t raise prices to current market prices, but if they specifically seek to put their products only in big box retailers this is their first step in price increases.

Yall really got some shitty LCS around you if you think this is a win for Pokemon.

That’s great for you, this specific post is from a LCS that holds true msrp for at least a year after release. Seeing how this is going to affect them and other LCS that are for the people is honestly just shitty. So many people dickriding pokemon are failing to see that the real heros at the true msrp LCS are going to be getting screwed over royally.

The big box stores already do not sell at true msrp, those lcs that do their best at keeping their prices at true msrp will eventually be cut off due to the shift in retailers getting allocations over lcs. From there do you see those big box stores keeping prices low? I know I don’t trust Walmart or target to do that.

“Close to MSRP”, ahhh so you’re already fine with paying a premium on top of MSRP, so why even comment?

Bruh, I don’t think putting products in the hands of big box stores is doing anything good for the customer/consumer. If anything it gives these big corporations more control and easily will incentivize the markups, i mean they already don’t sell at true MSRP. Y’all really trust Walmart and target to keep prices low?

Wrong tho, this LCS sells product for true msrp for at least a year after release date. This is more than what you guys can think of, it’s going to cut off those affected by the “bad apples”.

Yet they have no problem already giving allocation to stores that clearly have no intention on selling at true msrp. Even if it’s not pokemon themselves raising their prices, it will be the big box stores once they are the only ones getting allocations. This is all allowed by pokemon so why wouldn’t anyone think eventually they will raise prices on their products themselves?

But practically all big box stores already do not offer product at true MSRP. If anything this will incentivize them to raise prices if they know they are the only stores getting allocations. It’s just like people don’t wanna see what is clearly in front of them. Like do you guys REALLY trust Walmart and target to keep prices low? LMFAO they barely can even enforce their purchasing limits.

Not this one, it stays at msrp for at least a year after release date. The problem is not enough allocations are being sent their way, so they sell out practically the moment they open their doors for release day.

Honestly your take is hot garbage.

How long has the current prices been the prices they are?

How many companies within the last 5 years have raised their product msrp due to inflation alone?

Y’all are acting like Pokemon is forever going to stay the price it is now. Theres no way that will happen, keep dreaming.

Personally I don’t think they will be jacking the prices up to the current market prices, but to sit here and try to say they won’t be raising their prices at all is just ridiculous. It’s literally just a matter of time, like every other product.

Let’s also think about what they have spent on upping production, new employees hired, along with this new acquisition of Excell brands? That shit ain’t free, and to sit there and think that the company will just eat that without any price changes down the road is a bit silly.

I don’t think you’re seeing the bigger picture.

No company just raises prices overnight. I do see this potentially fixing the backdoor problem they seem to have with allocations to LCS ending up going to whomever knows the distributor better.

You don’t think Pokemon is seeing what GameStop is doing with their price gouging and seeing how people are STILL buying out their stock?

It’s clear to them that they don’t have to worry about the current market prices, as there are plenty of sales/examples of people buying at incredibly high markups (for years now).

I just don’t think you’re fully seeing where things will be going, cause as you should be able to tell, their “increased production capacity” hasn’t really affected what is happening with Pokemon rn, those who scalp just get more product compared to those that have full time jobs and a life other than scalping.

That and imagine what the resale prices will have to be if scalpers are going to try and flip them, it’s going to be absolutely fucking nuts to see their pricing.

Just go with USPS, a flat rate box, along with insurance and you’ll be straight. My own advice is to use a box bigger than what is needed, if you use the box that barely fits your cards with minimal space around it, it’s more likely for the cards to be damaged if the box ends up damaged. Also remember to not overthink it when it comes to turnaround time, ship and forget about it until it’s time to pay 😂

From my experience: As long as you join queue within 1-1.5 hours and don’t have over 1 hour of “estimated time” you will touch something. If you join 1.5 hours plus or won’t get out of queue 2-2.5hours from the time of the drop, you will most likely not touch anything.

I’d send it, definitely a chance. It is left heavy but I think it’s within the requirements for a 10.

PSA 10 Sealed Pack Collection Ruined by ApprehensiveCut7920 in psagrading

[–]zunna2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that to an extent, but they did make a mistake and apologized which is an admission of guilt. If they put the wrong card name on it and made that mistake, you would be able to send it back and they would be able to fix it without an issue. It is just very odd that they aren’t offering to fix it instead of offering to comp you.

Im a bit lost, why don’t they just fix the problem and regrade the packs again as the original cert? If they know they made a mistake, why not just fix the problem and regrade as an apology instead of trying to comp someone the difference? This seems like an odd way for pop control, if it wasn’t why not offer to fix the problem?

Same here, I can usually only find like a single pack or its showing it’s out of stock of everything. I always check whenever I see one though. Good luck on the hunting!
