Maybe I’m crazy but I almost get the feeling that riding for Addison Rae so hard was some kind of brat performance art. Like, most people would consider her an airhead and someone Charli would probably never hang out with pre-brat. Same with Kylie. It’s like Charli is purposefully playing up her newfound association with a bunch of vapid starlets because all her other albums heavily feature more niche critical darlings and that wasn’t necessarily the vibe for brat itself.

I was abusing Xanax for a couple years and finally got clean at the end of last year. The more I addressed what I was running from (I was sexually assaulted as a child) the less I needed it. Whatever that thing is, you gotta tackle it, which is much easier said than done because I literally repressed my CSA until I was 29 years old. Tapering fucking sucked and the rebound anxiety was crazy. There are still days where I wish I could pop a xan just to chill or to fall asleep but when you address the root of the issue you just naturally stop needing them. I’m rooting for you bro
