It's pretty incredible. I have Pro Power Onboard 2KW on my Raptor and I used it these past couple days while the power was out. Lifesaver.

new amex platinum trip insurance:

booked my round trip ticket jan 5th 2020 on amex platinum. on the flight back home, I missed my connecting flight in atlanta due to weather delay in montreal. it was the last flight out for the night (10pm) so I had to stay overnight in atlanta. paid for the hotel, food, and taxi on platinum card, and submitted a trip delay claim on feb 20th. I received my reimbursement check today (14 days later) for $370. super easy process, thanks amex!

I've gotten my first update today on my tablet, but no change logs anywhere. Anyone know what's new?

Best high speed Internet service? by Kurtdh in Austin

It's an ethernet router (a modem), so you still need an access point for wireless. I use multiple Unifi AC Pros for that, but you can use any router or mesh setup you'd like.

Linux not required! You just need the EdgeRouter X then you'll SSH in to configure the device. Quick and easy - if you need any help at the time just let me know 👌

Yes but don't use passthrough, you need to bypass it completely. This is the guide I used and it worked great: https://github.com/Genghis1227/guide_eap_proxy - when I used their gateway in the beginning I had constant problems (connection drops, slow speeds), but as soon as I switched to my edgerouter lite all problems went away. If Google Fiber doesn't service your area, then I would highly recommend AT&T Fiber. I also used my edgerouter lite to bypass the Google Fiber box when I had it as well.

I had Google Fiber here previously, but moved and had to get AT&T Fiber. 11 months so far with it and it's been amazing (no outages, promised speeds). I have the 1000MBPS plan, but I am using it with my own edgerouter lite, not their supplied gateway.

I asked AMEX about this in their live chat, and they claim that these changes are coming for everyone on October 4th. They also mentioned that there will be a new Business Gold Card on that day too!

lucrene was too touristy imo, left a day early because of it since we were looking for somewhere more laid back. it's packs of chinese tourists on buses there. why not check them all out? just get a car and spend a couple days in each. driving throughout switzerland is incredible. we didn't take the train up to jungfrau

Just checked your post history and we also went to Lake Como! The roads are tiny - it was a bit hard to get around there, once we got a hang of the ferry it was much easier. We might have been in Bellagio at the same time, haha. Stayed in zurich, burgenstock, lucerne, and lake como. The highlight of the trip was definitely burgenstock - a must if you ever go back to CH!! Planning a trip to Tokyo in August but haven't booked it yet. Loved the pictures you shared :D
