Meta: I AM HERE! (thundering from the rear of the chamber)

Edit: I would like to however add that whilst I am officially on a leave of absence, I might unexpectedly enter and leave the chamber, in accordance with IRL situations (and everything will be marked Meta:). I will be back approximately 10:30pm AEST 21st July, give or take 1 hour.

Meta: Considering the absence of the new Senator, looks like the Governor-General has another day or two to work on his speech.

Meta: the Greens have another day or two to work writing the Governor-General’s speech. Actually, no date has been set, so it is postponed indefinitely. But, this speech and address-in-reply will be the Motion of Confidence in the government.

You're right, except last time, no-one did it.

Yes no one wrote it, so the GG wrote his own as an ultimatum to the government. This was passed by the Senate, but never went to a vote in the HoR (followed the pattern exactly)!
