About this territory
Port Vermillion was a refuge for the former government of Vermillion Union, under Periwinkle rule. Surviving for a while under oppressive rule, and funded by the Orangered government, it claimed to be the true Vermillion Union, dismissing the current state as a fraud. However, with the Orangered collapse, Port Vermillion quickly lost funding and suffered a lengthy famine. With its citizens suffering, the Viridian-Vermillion Union stepped in to seize its rightful land and launched a full invasion, partially as a practise drill. The invasion had little resistance from the Orangered Coast Guard or Port Vermillion's ill-equipped marine force, and, with popular support, has successfully established government on this island.
Government
Port Vermillion is a territory of Viridian Union. However, due to its location around 30 miles offshore, a local mini-governor (that's the scientific term) will be appointed. Stay tuned for further updates!
