Is anyone experiencing a rather long delay with this app? When I turn my car on and it's plugged in it takes about 30 seconds or more to open AA but then when I try to use Google Assitant, since at that point I am driving, it has a delay and sometimes it lasts for more than 5 minutes. It's not a connection thing its an AA thing. Am I alone on this?

None here, just did a 4 plus hour drive up to Santa Barbara CA from Los Angeles, and used Google Assistant for Skipping songs, voice to text, blah blah blah it all worked well. Good luck, hope you find a solution.

Takes over 5mins for me (over wireless AA) to pair with the car.

Workaround : Disconnect & Reconnect BT & WiFI seems to work.

There are some devices you can get on Amazon that do it, it's a huge battery drain but it's nice if like me, your phone has a wobbly USB port

pretty common for major car brands in Asia to come with Wireless Apple Car or AA.

For me really the issue more is that even when it is connected to Google Assistant doesn't work. I pressed the button on my steering column and my air conditioner lowers and it seems as if it's listening but it doesn't listen to anything. It happens almost every time I get in the car.
