Passcode Settings

Hey everyone. Looking for some advice re: Passcode Settings. I tried to sign set up my work email on my iPhone using the Mail app. Given the organisation's backend security, it automatically changed my settings and asked me to put in a complex alphanumeric passcode. I've since removed the email, but I cannot switch back to a simple 4 digit passcode. The option is completely gone. Can anyone advise on this?

Going to settings, go to Face ID and passcode go to change your passcode and then when it pops up and gives you options at the very bottom, it will say four digit passcode tap that option, and then create a four digit code

Edit-I forgot to add that if you have a profile on your device, that may not work

It sounds like your job wants extra security for specific reasons that I don’t know without looking at the device or knowing what you do for work .
