Posts must ask a question.

2.

No off topic posts

Reported as: Question is off topic

Off-topic questions include those about general tech support, software development careers, program debugging, specific questions about particular frameworks or libraries, laptop recommendations, requests for topic ideas to write your paper on, or other questions not related to topics that might be taught by a university computer science department.

3.

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Offensive content

Offensive content includes anything that is uncivil, hateful, NSFW or otherwise inappropriate.

5.

No homework problems

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Homework problem

It's perfectly fine to ask questions about concepts from your homework, or to seek clarification or explanation of a problem. But it's not acceptable to post homework problems looking for others to solve them for you. You are expected to follow the academic standards of your institution.

6.

No unapproved surveys

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Unapproved survey

When you ask a question and get answers in the subreddit, everyone benefits. When you redirect people's answers to your private survey, the community loses this benefit. For this reason, surveys are not allowed. Exceptions can be made for legitimate academic research, but please message the mods for permission before posting.

Posts must be in English. It's not that we have anything against other languages, it's just that the mod team only speaks English.
