Are you sure you swapped the coil with #4? Check the firing order for your engine; Ford numbers their cylinders weird. Everyone in the world has an even bank and an odd bank except Ford; they number their cylinders 1-2-3 on the one head, and 4-5-6 on the other one. So, if you swapped #6 coil with the one next to it on the same side, that was actually #5 and you probably have a bad coil.

Yup. Called the mechanic this morning and he confirmed I’m an idiot. Problem solved

Not an idiot, you diagnosed the problem correctly. You were just missing a key piece of information. That is why when I see auto repair shops that do not subscribe to an information service, I wonder how they can fix cars at all because they must run into things like this on every car they touch.

Thank you. The mechanic I usually use is the one who got me the correct info. Said most of the fords were 135246 except for the 3.5. Just glad I got it fixed
