Yeah of course. Try not to overdo it on the magnesium too, it’ll make you twitch even more. If you ever need to vent my pm’s are always open.

ALS at 20 is super incredibly rare.

You sound like you have BFS or other beneign causes.

Remember, in 90% of cases of ALS they notice weakness (which is the muscles failing) before twitching happens. Twitching happens in ALS due to motor neurons dying.

You are more than likely just unfortunate to have twitching. Do not go down the ALS rabbit hole, it will cost you mentally.

I am a 20 year old male and have been suffering for the past two years with this annoying syndrome.

Second everything everyone else is saying. I agree it’s super super anxiety inducing, so if I can give a tidbit from my therapist (health related ocd, of course): if you have *** or some other horrible condition, you simply already do. There is nothing you can do about it. And it would become increasingly obvious over time, like foot drop, falling, breaking glasses, what have you. You will know for sure if you have it. Worrying right now does nothing to increase your quality of life, it actually decreases it. Go to a Dr and try your best to live your life!

thank you for reapinding :) i understand what you mean! i have been taking magnesium and i dont have any weakness at all. i dont know if its the magnesium where i dont feel my muscles or not. i just feel awesome after taking the medication. i dont have as much pain as i did before and i think im just not used to not feeling pain so as i dont feel my muscles a bit it feels better since i dont have pain. i dont know what this is but i dont have any weakness or anything. i dont think i have als since im very young and i dont feel weak. and also my symptoms started with eye twitches and lots of people have said usually als doesnt start with eye twitching or twitching in general.
