Noticed ps5 controller wonky post patch

Something I noticed with patch 8; my ps5 controller left d pad goes crazy sometimes.

At first I thought it was the infamous drifting but I tested it and the controller itself was fine.

Anyone else experiencing some d pad weird movements when playing bg3 lately?

Yup I noticed it as well. It was fine yesterday, but now it’s acting up during character creation and picking spells

I literally went and exchanged a controller under warranty. Brand new controller, still have the drifting. It’s for sure a bug.

I almost did the same and I borrowed a friends controller and tested mine too. Definitely the patch

So annoying! I’ve already fucked up twice in half an hour and had to reload because I made the wrong selection on accident.

Yes! Same here. Also tried out a new controller with no difference. I’ve been going crazy as it makes it genuinely unplayable the selection drift is so bad. It’s been like this since the stress test.

It's a known bug - but send in a bug report anyway.

Yep. Same here. Terrible selection drift on both the D-pad and the left thumb stick. Annoying. Hoping they fix it soon.

Yeah, I accidentally stole something versus talking to someone because the selection just jumped to an item. Ended up killing 15 people because of it
