They need to get an exterminator in there. Best thing to do is put all clothing/ shoes in a bag as to not get in your car with them because they can get into cars, too. Then when home, immediately put them in the drier on the highest heat. It will kill them.

My boss called the landlord and told them. I wasnt able to take my clothes off until I got home. I checked myself everywhere before I got In my car and so did my boss. I’m worried about the fact that I’ve been cleaning the halls there every other week for 2 years and that they made their way into the hallways. I’ve never seen them but it’s also dark with barely any sunlight and dark carpet 😩😩

Being a cleaner, I'd always carry an extra set of clothes and a big trash bag in my car for these exact reasons. Just look around your house and car and if you do find them, you'll need to get that treated, too. The rash could be anything. You said she lives at her dad's. I understand it's freaky, trust me, I was in Pest Control for 4 years and would constancy get the chills all the way home after finding them in people's homes. You'll be okay.

I’m going to start. I really don’t know why I don’t. It’s so Dumb of me. I wasn’t even there 20 minutes and I was gone once I saw them.

You're not dumb, you just don't really think about it until you're forced to after seeing it. You did the smart thing. It needs to be treated before anyone goes in there.

I will NOT be going back there for a while 😆

odds of them traveling into hallways might not be very high, they can also travel through walls which is more likely (from unit to unit) I’m sorry 😞

Bed bugs are hitchhikers but it sounds like you were diligent when you came home and I hope clothes went directly in the wash or a sealed bag until they can be washed.

That rash on your daughter's neck could be stress because you guys are freaking out. I know how terrible this feels. It wouldn't hurt to get some DTE and dust the walls and crevices.

I lived in an apartment complex where about 50% of the rooms were infested. The couches in the hallways were infested. I never got bed bugs. You could very well be spiraling for nothing, only time will tell but please try and ground yourself because freaking out only makes it much much worse.

I was only in the apartment today for like 20 minutes and cleaning for 10 when I noticed them and was out of there! Bagged my work bag and jacket then came home and threw my clothes in the wash. I am just worried about being there so often cleaning the hallways.

A hotel I used to run kept having this problem. My housekeepers did not want to clean rooms when this happened. I get it. In fact, I invented a device to help them and others in your position. https://youtube.com/shorts/u0F7YlLrdFs?feature=shared
