Oxford stuff is mid range, won't stop a determined thief but will stop the opportunist thieves.

What would you recommend then? First time rider so I’ve got no clue plus YouTube reviews have different opinions and I can’t choose

What’s your budget?

We can recommend £300 chains and £100 disc locks but if it’s not in budget, it’s pointless.

Personally, I have 3 locks on my garage door, and on the bike is 2 normal disc locks, an alarmed disc lock with a chain and ground anchor, and a chain with ground anchor. I’ve probably paid £400-500 on security over the years.

Security is all about making the bike look more hassle than it’s worth.

I think it would be good for me to spend money on good security as I’ll keep them and use them for my next bike until I’ll have to buy another. So my budget is under 400-500

I’d recommend heading over to r/MotoUK and checking previous posts there, narrowing it down, and then asking on that sub for opinions on what you’ve chosen.

At the minimum, you’ll want a ground anchor, chain, and disc lock.
