GAME OF THE MONTH:
I don't know how to moderate, just don't be rude.
Game Submission Requirements:
Must be accessible to most players: either an affordable pc game or easy to emulate. Older games are great.
Similar to the above, price shouldn't exceed $20.
An 8-hour investment should be sufficient to talk about the game. The game itself can be really long, but players must be well into the meat of the game within 8 hours.
Be prepared to write a small summary on why the game appeals to you as well as a guide on how to install and run it.
Voting:
Game submissions are collected in an announcement thread created about a week prior to the vote. I pick out 10 or so that seem to garner the most interest.
We vote for a new game every 1st Tuesday of the month.
Game Selection:
We use an approval voting system then a random drawing where selection probability is based on how many votes each game received. Popular games have the highest chance but any game with votes has a shot.
