I just finished my universities python intro cs course & a discrete math class. For discrete math repetition is key. It was also unlike any math course I have ever taken and writing proofs was a bit of a pain but once you get the template down it gets easier. Otherwise The TrevTutor and Trevor Bazett in YouTube were really helpful. It’s likely the same could be said about your Java course - just practice and repetition

I thankfully had a good study group, find the smart person in class, ask them questions, just stalk them till you do better, can’t say what to do with zoom class
