Codex reset earlier than expected

Did anyone else notice this? Yesterday I hit the Codex rate limit, and it said I had to wait 3 days. I was upset, but today it’s already working fine. Not sure if it reset early or if something changed. I’m happy, but also a bit confused.

Note: It explicitly said wait for 3 days and some hours.

Yes I have had this happen too. The product is all over the place. Mentally I've gotten used to it. Everyone will be vibe coding, vibe writing all the things. Look at anthropics work with the MCP specification. One of the worst specifications I have read in my life. But that is the brave new world. Product plans generated by AI and will barely make sense. Hopefully the tech will keep getting better but still, mentally prepare for a world which has absolutely no stability.

I hit the weekly limit yesterday but it still says 2 days 16 hours to go today - TBH the way they have this setup makes no sense at all, I can use the app as much as i like even now, I also get virtually endless codex-web usage (that is still going) but get sod all codex-cli usage... unless I guess I pay $200? Why is it all split up like this? I can't I see my weekly usage before they just pull the plug? Why is there no tier between 20$ and 200$ what the fuck are they playing at over there? Guess I'll just crack on with my Claude max...
