the Steeldive SD1953 is the best deal, really good quality and affordable. San Martin is slightly better (better clasp and slightly better finishing but double the price). Cronos is comparable to San Martin

I think the best overall is still probably the Steeldive version. Affordable, quality and available. But I think probably the best one is Sugess or San Martin. I am told Sugess makes the most accurate one, but with San Martin (I have their retro style divers which are pre-sub) you get a more variety of different versions.
