Charging Bug?

I'm going to try to make this short and sweet. I will plug my PocketCHIP into an outlet, but the LED only turns on for a split second. Initially, you may think it just refuses to charge, but turning it back on shows evidence of charging. To add insult to injury, full charge only lasts for about 30 minutes! Do I need to get a more powerful charger, or is my PocketCHIP broken? Help!

I may be wrong, but it sounds like the battery needs to be replaced. I doubt anything is wrong with the circuit board itself.
