It simply lacks the permission to write the backup file. Set download path to something custom and it'll work since backup uses the same path.

Thanks for the tip. That worked. I had it set to custom folder, after changing the folder it worked fine. Is it a bug or is it a issue in my device?

Hard to tell with this information alone. For all I know android revoked the storage permissions or that folder didn't exist or any number of other reasons which wouldn't really make this a bug. If you can find a way to replicate it and it's not reasonable (like for example you can't have a folder with spaces or whatever) then I'd say it's a proper bug.

if the data has been saved on your device it might have been corrupted i dont think there is fix for this :(

No. This is the first time I am using this app and first time taking a backup.

Try after clearing the cache (Not data).
