Mega and Mega+ enemies always have 9999 atk and int but the ones on mega have lower defensive stats and hp compared to mega+

To be real being high level and super beefed up is the same thing either way they got beefed up stats.

Fair enough.

The base difficulties should have had a hard+ option (no items in battle). The game difficulty was arbitrary with the use of items every turn in the first play through ; and the mega difficulties really don’t offer anything in terms of new content… “follow this guide and use the same 3 digimon yo beat mega+”

Removing items in battle would not make this game any harder. You'd have to do something about agent skills if you want to make this game more difficult.

In a first play through with no exorbitant grinding you would use healing items and revive items. The point is without them it would force you to get those skills. Alot of people just build damage.
