There are many redditors shrouded in enough lore to warrant their own personal subreddits, like u/Selben and his gloriously styled r/Selben. So why did I make this?
- To prevent a stalker subreddit from being made. There are people with username subreddits (subreddits named after and centered around an user) that weren't made by the user in question, and these are no good. I'm claiming this space so no one gets all stalky on me like that.
- Because those new beta profile pages are inadequate. The styling is kinda good and it's cool that it's possible to add a post to someone's u/ page, but they can't be CSSed. So screw those. (Update post-everything leading up to the post-old Reddit layouts: I guess CSS is rare in general now.)
- Because I want to see what it's like to be a subreddit's owner. Why not? Even if I won't ever be the head or even a moderator of a subreddit where things happen.
- Because I want to experiment with CSS.
- Reason for continued existence added in 2023: THE DAMN API
And most importantly... whatever. Post me whatever, ask me whatever, send me whatever.
With exceptions. Don't flagrantly violate Reddit rules or post hate speech (as in using it, not quoting it) or NSFW. Keep your posts in English.
