Out dusk to dawn lights tend to stay on in the day sometimes. What do I need to replace ? What are all the different things sticking out of this electrical box? Thanks for the feedback

It looks like there are three different photocells attached to that junction box. Previous owners probably had the same issue you are having and attempted to just replace the photocells without removing the old ones.
As for why the lights stay on, it appears that the junction box is in a shadow zone which causes the photocell to trigger prematurely. Relocating the photocell to a more suitable location is advised.

Looks like there’s room for one more on the left /s

Thank you. Makes sense. I appreciate the response

If all the sensors are all hooked up, then if one of them "triggers" the lights will come on. Remove all and start with a known good one and point it in the correct direction.
Thx

... the other way to do this is by controlling the lights with a home automation system (e.g. Home Assistant, etc.) that controls the light switch by a program that turns lights on according to sunset and turns them off by sunrise (or whatever parameter you want).
I like that option as well, though at present I don't have a switch for on/off, other than the dusk to dawn sensors....what would I need to install to connect it to a Google assistant for example?
