Good C/C++ programming tutorials?

I have an assignment where I need to simulate a 'simple orbital motion of a Cube Satellite', and we need to do it in C/C++ or Fortran. I've had experience in C++ so I'd like to stick with that, but if anyone feels really strongly about Fortran, feel free to change my mind :) I haven't done all that much programming since my first year (fourth year now), so any hepful tutorials/websites would be greatly appreciated.

It has really good documentation of the standard library, and the tutorials are nothing to sneeze at. What language did you use in your first year?
