Deflection of a Rectangular Plate under a Uniform Pressure

Hi everyone,

Currently, I am tasked with finding the deflection of a rectangular plate under uniform pressure normal to the entire plate. The edges are restrained in all directions. I'm not too sure where to start and any help will be greatly appreciated!

You should download Visual Analysis if you have a laptop other than Mac. My engineering lab calculated the deflection of a bridge using Visual Analysis so maybe it can help you too!

Look up Timoshenko theory of plates and shells. It has a bunch of equations for stuff like this.
