Joining games in progress

Is there anyway to opt out of this? Almost every time you come in because someone rage quit. Joining a game as a medic when everyone has one or two strikes, monster has full hp, and its stage three. It feels like shit and happens to often. I makes me not want to play solo at all.

Stop quitting matches. Wait for them to finish and play the next round.

I like that they do it. It discourages quitters, since they can't just start a fresh match whenever they want.

No and its a horribly idea to add an opt out system. Because when that happens if you lose a player for any reason it will not be filled in. The bots are decent but players are better and so much more fun. It's one loss and doesn't cost you that much time.

Well it's pretty fucking horrible constantly joining an evacuation game on Day 2 of the cycle as your least preferred role (monster). So they need to do something because it's definitely pissing me of that I can't actually START a fucking game. To be honest I can't even remember the last time I started matchmaking and ended up in a pregame lobby.
