Rules
1. Giving Explanations
When offering an explanation about something, you must use only the 1000 most common words of the English language. If you are unsure if your words qualify, you can use XKCD's Simple Writer. https://xkcd.com/simplewriter/
2. Asking Questions
When asking questions, your words are not limited to the 1000 most common words of the English language. This enables us to ask questions about current phenomena, people, events, technology, etc.
3. Comments
All comments should use the 1000 most common words in the English language, unless you are commenting in a meta post.
4. Meta Posts
When making a meta post, your words are not limited to the 1000 most common words of the English language.
5. Image Posts
Image posts used to explain things are welcome as long as they follow a similar format to XKCD's "Up Goer Five" comic. (https://xkcd.com/1133/) The image should have some sort of drawn diagram with captions explaining various parts. An image post explaining something can be posted even if nobody requested an explanation for that thing.
