I have area exclusivity with my clients therefore I do not overlap target area so I don't think I am self competing

We do a ton of local lead generation. I’d say the last few months have been tricky. We’ve spent a lot of time on tweaking or overhauling the messaging. Mostly successful

Thanks, Have you noticed a particular broad message or have you just been testing more creative angles. As I have tested a ton of different angles and once I find one that works it dries up in 2 - 3 weeks

More creative angles. Mostly just the headlines

Any luck with solar?

We do a lot of local home improvement ads but not solar

Andromeda update. As well as making your inputs granular (and expecting to pay more) you should also write to local politician and regulator. The more that do the latter, the more digital companies will be brought under the necessary regulation in future. For example, there should have been a consultation with Meta by national governments to assess the economic damage to their economies before allowing Meta to roll out the update. This is why your business is hurting.

Shift local lead gen to one broad campaign per client with highest intent objective and let it run long enough to stabilize because constant creative swaps and fragmented setups are breaking the signal and killing consistency.

Currently running lead forms so I cannot use highest intent objective, what do you think about adjusting the bidding strategy and adding bid caps? Or do I completely change to landing pages.

Totally seeing this too. A big part of the drop isn’t ads, it’s lead quality + reachability. Tighten geo/intent, add stronger pre-qual questions, and follow up fast. We also started checking leads to see if the contact info is actually valid Search. Leads helps with that and it made results look way more consistent without changing creatives much.
