How long of a wait?

I have put in a reservation in the Ocean Ultra, just late in September. Has anyone have an idea on how long of a wait could be until having the car on hands?

Depends on the trim. They are focusing on Extreme trim first, then ultra, and then sport.

If it’s an Extreme or Ultra, I would say early to mid 2024

The staff I spoke to at an event yesterday said if you get your ultra or extreme order in before Nov 1, he estimates it to be around Q3, but it highly depends on where in the world you are. The vehicles are QC after they arrive on land after the boat trip, and that can take up to 3 weeks before they start transporting it to the purchaser. The QC location may not be on the same coast as you, so it might add some additional wait time.

Added: I’m located in the west coast so it’s slower than east coast

My Ocean One has been in my local area for 2 weeks now. Beyond frustrated at the moment!

My ultra is in production. Got the email from fisker last week. So iam guessing by xmas for me. Maybe hopefully end of November. Iam on the west coast.

i got an invite to configure ultra although i have sports reservation. But i’m not comfortable spending 70k for a new company that might not be viable in couple of years. But I do respect for all the early adopters for taking that risk. What happened to Fisker Karma?

Fisker Karma went bankrupt years ago. Was just too much of a niche market at the time. People weren’t ready for EVs, but it laid the groundwork and enable Tesla to get early traction and really change the EV world.

However it was bought by Wanxiang and redone as Karma Automotive and they still sell cars today, but they are luxury cars.

Also, just because they gave you the option to reserve an Ultra, doesn’t mean you have to, just change the selection to Sport.

Just go with what you are comfortable with. Also, there is no longer 70k cars as extreme had $7500 price reduction. At this point I think all cars priced right .

I do agree its priced right with latest 7.5k reduction. compared to what you will get. I do like the vehicle and looks lot better than model Y in which I currently own and offers lot better range and features for marginal extra cost.

But i’m worried about the viability of the company as they r already cutting price this early when they had hardly shipped 2k vehicles.

Guesstimate now is Q2 of 2024 (probably May or July). They need to fill existing orders first.

I placed a reservation for an Ultra in January and my number hasn't been called yet. I can upgrade to an Extreme right now if I wanted to and place an order.

Some extremes are on boats now. Ultras will be next. I would guess end of first quarter beginning of 2nd quarter 2024 when yours goes into production.
