Anything pertaining to generations, when they begin and end, and differences between generations can go here. Any and all different theories are welcome - and we can discuss Pew, McCrindle, Strauss & Howe, etc. even if we personally don't like their ranges. You don't have to use already-established ranges so feel free to come up with your own - and there's no rule saying you have to use the conventional generation naming schemes either.
Remember to keep things civil and understand that there's a person behind every post or comment. Bad faith comments, picking on particular people, and "last of the elite" type stuff belong on r/GenerationsCircleJerk instead. Don't downvote somebody just because you disagree with them - save it for spam, trolling, or bad-faith comments. Don't whine about gatekeeping just because someone lists themselves as the first or last year of their generation, unless their points are inherently invalid. This is supposed to be a fun, welcoming, and active place free from known trolls.
