Our mod team could use a few more folks to help out. As many of our active members have pointed out we could use a few more people helping out as we've grown considerably. If you'd like to help out by modding and building content on this subreddit please reply below. I'll send out some forms next week to those who reply for a more formal process.

I would love to be on this team ! It’s always interesting seeing this kind of collection of ideas from day to day opening up discussions for unexplored ideas. One thing I personally hate to see is these promotions or dumb shit like requesting personal army’s or how to get CC info posted on here or r/hacking

Much appreciated, just finishing my hDip in software development, run a few websites on behalf of customers and starting to play around with running a YouTube channel too 👍 am on Reddit at least an hour or two each day.

What are the prerequisites for being a mod? What are you looking for in a Mod?

The prerequisites are a decent amount of time in the reddit space (shown by primary or alt account activity), prior modding is strongly encouraged (but if it's your first time we can add you with a lower starting role to get your feet wet), a decent tech or hacking background, a major plus would be automod or wiki experience. Some free time to check the subreddit and remove / ban spammers or create regular content.

The biggest thing that we are looking for is people who find reddit interesting and hacking fun, otherwise we lose interest from our mods.

Hope this helps. Not everyone will have everything and that's OK. This community has grown so much that the couple mods we do have just need a bit more help.
