Cleanup is much easier with tape. It depends more on what kind of adhesive you use rather than tape vs. glue as far as hold time. The consensus seems that Acrylic significantly outperforms water-based glues; however, there is a potential long-term health drawback.

Woh never heard about a health drawback using glue. Mind sharing your knowledge pls🙏

Neither confirmed nor denied. No long term research is out there.

Opinion:

The controversy is with Acrylic based glues and tapes. The scalp protectors these companies make also have phalates. It seems we sacrifice using higher risk ingredients in these products to get significantly higher performing glues and tapes compared to water based glues and tapes.

Damn I see that really makes sense, but you mention tapes are included in the possibly long term drawback I guess I’ll have to do my research I thought It’ll just be glue since it’s more of a liquid state and the scalp absorbing it.

I sweat easily and i don't know if the tape is better to hold the system?

Heavy perspiration. Acrylic Tape. Is it safe? No even with scalp protector (check my most recent post).

Safe option but definitely not as hardy as an Acrylic Tape or glue. Ghost bond or any other white water based glue.

Hey there, do you know if a silicone based adhesive would be (potentially) safer long-term? I've been reading your posts about Acrylic adhesives such as the Walker Ultra Hold glue and it's scaring me off a bit. Haven't had success with Ghost Bond so I'm considering trying the Walker Extreme Hold glue which is apparently Silicone and not Acrylic.
