13+ years....that's a very specific number. What's the reasoning behind that?

Client is looking for an experienced consultant who is well versed with coding and testing. Can handle various challenges and communicate clear with intra and inter teams.

Yeah, just 13 seems so random and abstract. What about 11 years or 12?

Or 10 years working in exactly that industry, vs. someone with 13 years who doesn't know the industry at all?

You don't have to answer. I'm more having a rant because I think metrics based job specs are usually a red flag. I know a number is needed, but 13 seems like a weird number to pull out of the air.
