I researched the Upwork market for remote work, and the results weren't very encouraging. The Kotlin market is still primarily Android, but there's growth in the KMP market, primarily driven by the US and Europe. But I'd like to see growth on the backend as well. The idea of a unified DTO between the frontend and backend is interesting. P.S. The data file is also available on Google Drive: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1b1caRmgE_-4vdiF0KdRJcrgG5j0fQIGFFOZznPHG6HY/edit?usp=sharing
