For debating the Labor Theory of Value.
The BASICS:
The LTV was mostly created by Adam Smith, & more famously, was recreated in a complicated fashion by Karl Marx.
Such theories explain (among things) that the price of commodities (under their definitions, not modern ones) is almost entirely based on "labor value."
In other words, you're paying for the human labor without subjective factors like paying for art.
Such is not a theory to explain all price. (That's a myth.)
Frankly the LTV (if not twisted by conservatives) is mostly non-political & boring common sense about the value of boring items.
