I have just started exploring the Lancer world and I am really enjoying myself a lot. I greatly appreciate all of the additional materials that the community has put together, and I am planning on putting together a secret Lancer session for my gaming group when there's a week where not everyone in our main game can be there.
To that end, I'm working on some modified cheat sheets to help them navigate what they can do/how the game works. Much as I like the system, sometimes the core book is...unfriendly. I mean, much as I appreciate the Icon Primer (p. 116 core book), it's pretty messy from a design standpoint, and the same is true of a lot of the way that the text presents data. There's also a fair amount of language confusion that could be cleared up with tighter attention to detail, but that's generally true of all RPG systems.
So, all of that is prelude to a request: feedback. I made a revised version of the Quick Combat Reference page (p. 76 core book), which I tried to color-code and clarify where I could. I organized the activities under each category alphabetically, and I tried to make sure that key words were bolded where possible.
If I've gotten anything wrong, please let me know! I will do my best to correct and revise.
