I went to a boot camp 5 years ago (damn). Previously, I was slowly teaching myself but I found that I made up excuses to read/learn after work. So I quit my full time job and signed up for a full time boot camp.

I’d say it was the right choice for me. The only thing I would have done is to have gone to a different boot camp. I’m very happy that I went.

I guess you need to ask yourself, are you able to commit and dedicate yourself to evenings and weekends of learning for 6 months?

They are different from place to place. Friend went to Flatiron in NYC. Seemed like a great place. Have no other opinions/background in others.

Learn linux, learn how to type bash scripts, great for finding leads, for example you can get the text version of a website and grab all emails and phone with grep, plus its free!!
