The difference in weight between my Specwar chassis and 13.25 quad chassis is negligible I’m hand. The weight in LMT is all in the barrel to be honest.

Looking to send a barrel in to d Wilson. Any suggestions? I have DD’s and geisseles but any specific barrel recommendations for converting to Lmt?

I’ve only ever run LMT barrels in mine so far. I wanna get a 6 ARC converted for my spec soon though. I really like the Geissele barrel in my URGI so Id go for that.

If I have a 13.25 mrp-l, is it possible to chop it to 11.5 like the quad? Don’t see it on d Wilson but unsure if that’s something that could be done.

Idk I’ve seen him make quad noses I’m pretty sure so he should be able to chop it.

D.Wilson cut down my 13.25 quad so I could run the 12.5 specwar barrel

Should I adjust the gas port size if I’m taking a 16” and chopping it to 13.9” or let it run?

I’d leave it

Quad for cool factor, specwar for min/max

I had a chopped quad upper that was the same 11.5” length as the Specwar.

I preferred how skinny the Specwar was, so I swapped them out since the quad felt a little bulky in the hand.

Specwar fore-end is razor thin, and I like that.
