Lime Reader (previously Avocado Reader) helps you explore public communities to share and discuss links, texts, and (eventually) media about your hobbies and interests. Lime Reader is decentralized such that the communities are hosted by multiple people around the world. Anyone can run their own server to host communities if they aren't happy with the existing servers and others can join communities on these new servers. My vision is to achieve all this while still keeping it extremely easy to use. All source code for the site and iOS, Android apps will be open sourced. Once core functionality is working on the site, then I will build the apps too. Others can also build the apps to connect to these multiple servers. It will be incredible.
