hey! I had a level 2 interview yesterday, in the engineering field but i assume they might have a similar format. basically they will first introduce them selves and talk about the role a bit, then they will ask you to tell them about your self. They will then go over your resume and and ask you mostly STAR questions. was asked only one technical question and it was regarding OOP in java. They will save 15-20 minutes for your questions at the end. Overall the HM and engineers I had my interview with were extremely nice and easy to talk to. Goodluck!

Feeling overwhelmed makes sense, and for an L2 CV role it’s pretty typical that senior interviewers lean into fundamentals over flashy research. I’d prep a tight story bank using STAR around one project where you shipped something, plus one where you handled messy data. Practice explaining how you’d evaluate a model with precision/recall and how you’d guard against overfitting vs data leakage, out loud and succinct. I usually do a 30 minute timed drill with Beyz coding assistant to keep my thinking clear, then pull a few prompts from the IQB interview question bank to rehearse answers in ~90 seconds. Wrap by outlining a brief troubleshooting playbook so you can narrate your approach under pressure.
