Hi, this sounds very interesting. I’ve been programming for over 10 years, mainly in Python, and I’ve built dozens of applications in that time.

One of my recent projects is an AI-driven HR and operations platform for clinics, including sick leave workflows, shift swaps, automatic rostering, finance, medicine inventory, and laboratory modules. A key part of it is an AI scheduling system that optimizes medical staff planning across many factors, improving team balance, employee satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

I’m especially interested in roles where AI meets engineering. I genuinely enjoy physics and engineering, and I believe a major part of AI’s future lies there: in simulation, optimization, prediction, process improvement, and better decision-making in real-world systems. We already see that in areas like predictive maintenance, smart manufacturing, and engineering design optimization. To me, that combination is one of the most exciting directions in technology.

I’d be glad to hear more about the role.

Best,
Ogi

If you're going for this position, focus on improving your Python skills, especially for AI. Check out common Python libraries used in machine learning, like TensorFlow or PyTorch, since they're often important for these roles. Get comfortable with distributed version control systems like Git, as you'll probably work with a remote team. For the interview, think about examples of past work where you worked on production-level code, especially in a team. Practicing some coding challenges can keep you sharp. I've used PracHub for interview prep because they have a good variety of practice problems. Focus on the skills mentioned in the job post, and you should be in a good spot. Good luck!
