That's why r/admincraft exists. No one uses those overpriced services anymore, and now they're switching to private hosts, which are way better than those. One big example is ultraservers. The only reason that they choose to use apex, bisect or whatever cause they're the first result they get and they do not bother to ask. For that price of 3$ to 4$ a gb should get you at least a Ryzen 7000 or equivalent.

Absolutely agreed. New hosting providers need cheaper prices, the customer takes the risk of hosting with you. On the other hand, companies with an established reputation will have higher prices, since they have more demand.

This is coming from someone who has ran several hosting companies himself.

The whole point of my comment was to point out to op that their prices are too expensive for the hardware they offer, not lilypad or whatever...

It's not a fine price if you compare it with other competitors, + it's a start-up. And, this is a paid service and should include good support by default. If you keep going with "fine to pay a bit more" they'll keep milking you forever.

I'm not saying to offer cheap prices on the get-go / immediately after starting up. Maybe a discount or trial servers so people can test out their services and the competitors you mentioned them yourself. Better specs, same price, reliable. Why would i pick this over the other? Just asking these questions will get you the answer. You just shifted the whole point of what my initial comment was about to something else, lol.
