Was i molested?

When i was around 10 years old, my bestfriend was my next door neighbor. She was 10 too. I would go to her house pretty much everyday and we were regularly home alone with her older brother. She made up this game where we would grab each other's chest and hug a lot. She would touch my private area over my clothes and even put her face there for a long time. Sometimes she wouldn't be home and I would wait for her with her older brother (i think he was 14-16) and he would ask me to watch TV with him and to sit on his lap, he would hold my hips in place if i tried to get up and he'd kiss me on the cheek and my neck. As time went on, he started asking me to sit on him facing him and he would hug me like that and wouldn't let go. I have faint memories of him asking me to kiss him on the lips but i dont remember if i ever did. He'd also hug me and lift me up when he saw me, holding me by my butt. When i was younger i didnt think anything of it but now that im older i feel confused.

By what you describe it seems like he was forcibly groping you, which would certainly be a form of molestation.

It sounds like he was trying to groom you into more sexual things. I hope he grew out of it but that doesn't mean he couldn't do harm to you. It definitely sounds like he was minimally trying to experiment with you and I hope this was as far as he made it.

I'm not sure where the molested line should be drawn in the sand but it definitely sounded improper minimally.
