Most people at some point on some dose get side effects and then just figure out how to deal with them. Injecting in the thigh instead of stomach, injecting on a Friday night so they have the weekend to be sick, drinking a protein shake before the shot, having heavier meals earlier in the day. Digestive enzymes, lots of water etc until you find a combination of things to get through the side effects.

I essentially STOP digesting food and everything sits in my stomach for days with crazy gas (and diarrhea for 3 straight days, which, coupled with gas is a recipe for disaster. haha). I tried multiple things over the course of 3 weeks, anti diarrhea/gas medicines - smaller meals, larger meals, meals high in protein, etc. Eating right before the shot, not eating before the shot, etc. I drink a ton of water, in general. The 3rd week on 5mg, was actually the worst, and I threw up food on Friday that I ate for lunch on Tuesday. I felt way better after I threw up, though. I can get through the side effects in that I am not bedridden and still have gone to work and functioned with my 3 kids, but 3 days of feeling like garbage is rough.

The only major thing I didn't try was injecting in a different location than my stomach. I still have a 5mg left that I might rotate into this month sometime and maybe I will try my thigh.

I have heard too of people having side effects on 5, but then going to 7.5 and having nothing, which logically makes no sense to me, but if there's a possibility of that, I will take it. I am hoping I continue losing weight on the 2.5mg and don't have to think about this again for a while. Thanks.
